Introducing: Tools of the Trade III: Listing Agreements

Tools of the Trade  --- Three separate highly interactive four-hour classes with comprehensive analyses of the contracts, their implications and use.  Updated constantly as the forms (and the market) evolve. Better, more diligent practice is the result.
Written by, and presented by Donald Fillius.

Tools of the Trade I: The Statewide Purchase & Sale Agreement
We go through the General and Specific Terms with a fine tooth comb and discuss as a group the meaning,  implications & ramifications of each paragraph. The goal ---everyone walks out crystal clear.

Tools of the Trade II: The Addenda
We go through the crucial addenda to the Statewide Purchase & Sale Agreement. Starting with the Financing addendum and its related forms with the goal of everyone in the room being crystal clear on the documents and their use. Then we cover various other crucial addenda as a group. These include 22D Optional Clauses, 22EF Evidence of Funds, 22J Lead Based Paint, 22T Title, 35 Inspection and more.  If you have a statewide addendum you especially want to touch on, let me know in advance---we take requests!

Tools of the Trade III: Listing Agreements
We go through the Listing contract and related addenda with a fine tooth comb and discuss the ramifications of exposing listings to the market, NWMLS rules and listing buyers. Pocket listings are a timely topic in the industry and that will be discussed at length.

Every profession has its tools.

Top professionals work to master them.

Among the questions we’ll answer:
¨      When is the buyer in default as soon as the seller signs?
¨      What is the counter offer that the seller cannot make?
¨      When are three days more than six?

In these highly interactive classes:

  • We inspect the contracts with a fine-tooth comb

  • Discuss practical issues and best practices

  • Discuss how to minimize agent risk for yourself and your client

These courses are designed for all levels of experience,
and can be taken together or as stand-alone classes.
