Real estate foreclosure deals in West Seattle

Amazing, the values that are out there. You would have to be firmly esconced in a doom and gloom future scenario to not see an upside in some of the properties sitting on the market lately. Two sterling though opposite examples...

Example: Arbor Hts 4+ bedroom/2+ Bath over 2000 sq ft cosmetic fixer in need of almost every interior surface redone but could be a great rental for under 135,000. This could be a nice house.

Example: A choice of two sweeping city view 2/2 1000+ sq ft condominiums for under $400,000. Take a look at the geography - the number of city view properties will always be a miniscule proportion compared to those facing west. That plus the delight of a sparkling nighttime vista (as compared to blackness) and the fact that every other place I've known put a premium on city skyline views all lead me to believe that as we continue to grow up as a metropolis, views toward Seattle will have economic growth potential exceeding the market as a whole.

In fact, one of the two is a penthouse unit in a building currently wrapped---when the work is done (scheduled to be soon)...oh my goodness. Both as a home and an investment I cannot see a downside over the next few years.
